Lightbulb Dry ice to remove small dents

Has anyone ever tried to use dry ice to remove small dents. I heard this might work?

Heat gun first or blow dryer first, then dry ice. I saw it once, the paint chipped but the dent was significantly smaller.

I saw a guy try to do it on monster garage (Discovery Channel) and it was UGLY, and didn't work. Then again it wasn't a small dent.
