![]() OE 18's on my '17. Just picked them up from the powder coaters today. Prismatic Powders Highland Bronze with a second coat of Fog Clear. Wrapped in some new Michelin Pilot All Season 4's (255-40-18). I can say I love how they came out!

![]() Looks great! I've always loved bronze wheels, especially on white.

![]() Very nice. How very "Type RA" or "Series.White "of you.
Do you have your stock wheels on spacers? For some reason they look pushed further out that what I think I've seen in other pics. Or is it the 255/40 tire playing tricks with my eyes? |

![]() Color combo looks great! About how much did it run you to coat them?

Yes, I really tried matching the Type RA / Series White bronze as best I could. I even went to a dealer and took some pics and then ordered samples from Prismatic Powders. No spacers. It's probably the 255's. They ran me about $750 to coat. Not cheap, but it was a two-step process. Powders with lots of metal in them need a clear coat on them. The clear I went with is a satin. Also, for some reason my car seems lower than the average 2017. I bought this thing used from a BMW dealer of all places and I don't think it has lowering springs, but I can't really be sure. Does it look lowered to anyone else? I just picked up a set of GTWorks Bilstein Trophy Cup coilovers so we shall see if it gets any lower than it is. Last edited by PilotKD; 01-05-2021 at 01:21 AM. |
