It currently idles and cruises...just need to get a day were CJ is up here and it will roll out. As for the pump yes, I think when he starts pushing the car more he will run out of pump. I think he knows this allready and has a second walbro to run a dual set up last that I knew.

I vote you let Ron take a look at it. It couldn't hurt anything. Your already just letting the car sit because it's not running right. Send phatron the map and logs!

Yeah I'm sure a lot of people are reading the thread and seeing the fuel pressure issues. We got that resolved by hard wiring the pump. I'm sure I'll run out of pump but I'm not even close at this point since the car has yet to see any boost. When the time comes I'll probably just upgrade to the walbro 400 pump.

I'm not with the car currently so have no way to do any logging currently.

Debt free life is boring. If I didn't have any payments I would not have the bike or a credit card, lol.

All it would take is to break an axle.

I'm pretty sure that basic physics and common sense will tell you that if you break a half shaft, it's going to pull to one side or the other. Seeing how there are walls on both sides of the track, it's a good chance you'll hit one of them if you are doing 100+. Hitting the wall at a track is a risk you take no matter what you drive at the track.
When I broke my R160, it wanted to pull to the right. Can't imagine how bad an axle would be.

Not to mention, I'm pretty sure C6Z's run 10's with like exhaust, drag radials, a tune, and a good driver. They are getting pretty affordable now as well. I don't think I'd sell my car to buy one but if I was looking for something performance oriented, a C6Z would be pretty high on the list.

That's not a year-round car for most states(which is why I love subarus)...plus where I am, they are a dime a dozen.

blow thru is not the answer...unless its paired with the Cobb MAF/SD combo to utilize the MAF at low MAFv.

But even then blow thru (in most cases) causes great oscillations in teh MAFv due to the pressure waves coming back through the throttle body. And blow thru also necessitates a larger MAF housing....which will just lead to worse drivability than a smaller draw thru.

Speed density is much easier as you can just pop open the table real time and get rid of any crazy fueling issues....but you can do those same things with MAF....although its not real time and you have to find the compensation table to modify. Its time consuming.

I ran my car on the kstech83mm in my daily driver for 4 years without issue. then i switched to an 89mm maf and gtx35 and 280 cams. I still didnt have any real issues, except for one spot when cruising. I didnt really troubleshoot it as i just switched to SD within a week. The cruising issue was gone. For either system you're basically modifying the IPW to dial in the fueling....but its just alot easier to do it in a VE table instead of having to go through every compensation table to get it correct with MAF. Speed density has its own issues which cobb covers in teh manual.

This thread has got me looking forward to seeing the car this weekend, I hope it gets going. I really want to just cruise it around without misfires, stalling, total **** driving, etc.

dude stop ****ing around and go SPEED DENSITY! its available for your car year SO USE IT. im still waiting for them to figure out 2.0 SD on cobb. that stupid fender intake setup sucks, ESPECIALLY if you have weather. I have played with maf and turbo spacing forever. the basic theory is AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN GET FROM EACH OTHER. if that sounds stupid then go speed density, and do yourself a favor.

I agree with SD. Why bother with the maf on anything larger than a 20g anymore? It's too smooth and consistent to not use it...
