Default O2 sensor before Turbo

So anyone want to tell me all the downsides to placing the O2 sensor before the turbo inlet?

The upsides are faster and more accurate O2 readings..

---

And, I'm looking for a local welder.. Kartboy quality level.. Anyone want to recommend any?

No real downsides I can think of other then that it'll be exposed to more heat there, which is not a big deal because it's designed for that. *shrug*

i think before the turbo is the best place, you will get the most accurate readings there.

i don't have a wrx

i have mine hooked up to my rear O2 sensor, after the first two cats, after the turbo. jorge said "theoretically" it will never read 'full rich', being after the cats, and it never does. also takes a split second to respond after you stomp on or let off the gas.

mine also reads lower (like 1 or two leds) when my lights are on... dunno why.

Revision: I can weld anything from wires to heavy structural steel

Just bring the damn thing over and we'll weld it in place. I don't do powdercoating though

That's right, you guys make fences.. Duh..

Gotta find a M18x1.5 thread weldable bung. Then I gotta scrape away some of this coating on the pipe. But first, this time I will test fit it on the car!

Just look for an O2 sensor bung... it's a standard from what I understand. If you're paranoid, just try it out before buying it. BTW, DRE should have them in stock, I would think.
