Looking for information on EWGs
so i know this isnt a section for things like this, im not sure what is... but ussually the big power, built engine guys use EWGs, and the 2.0T forum wasnt any help. i dont know nearly enough about EWGs, and i cant find information. so heres what im asking
i want more information, how they work, why theyre better, how springs work in comparison to actual boost pressure, (if i want 25 psi, how do i do this in combo with the EBCS?) how internal wastegates work, the differences between the 2. can i run two different maps on one EWG spring? (a 10-15psi DD map, and a 25 psi race map?) anything and everything your combined minds know about EWGs, i want to know it. later on, i may compile this knowledge into a thread of its own, to sort out confusion, so people can use it. thanks for your help, and hopefully i get some answers, i cant seem to find any realistic breakdown, to help me understand how the wastegate works in conjunction with the boost controller.

I'm sure people will mention to search. Have you read through the Boost Control FAQ already? Some good info there.
