Exhaust compatibility?
I'm looking for an exhaust that will directly swap on to a 06 Baja turbo..... What if any will be a direct fit? Is there anything with just a "midpipe"(aka portion with last cat)? Would consider a TBE, but want it catted due to strict emissions here in MA.
TIA!!

Xcceleration.com has one. I think it's kinda pricey. I'd like to put one on mine if I ever get the $$$

The muffler is the only thing that would need to be custom. Everything else like the downpipe, mid pipe should bolt right up no prob. You can save some money by buying a TBE you like for a wrx or sti and take it to a muffler shop to extend it a couple inches and modify the muffler hangers.
It only cost me about $100 to get it modified. |

You can check the sticky thread on what works with what for the downpipe compatibility. They will all bolt up but the issue is if it will clear the brace. I know for a fact the Turboxs bell mouth does fit exactly. I have it on my 05 baja.

Another option is to buy the parts you want online including the piping (straights & bends), muffler, resonator, flanges & hanger. Find a local welder and have the section you want custom made. You may be able to save some money this way rather than buying one complete from xcceleration.

That's what I did, look at the pics in the last thread. I used a few bends, clamps, vibrant dual tip muffler w/3" inlet . Exhaust is solid, looks better than the random tech one I think.
