Default The interview

Thanks for the warm welcome

So I checked the 08 Subaru Impreza today and I found:

Why is the oil filter way up in the manifold like that? lol
It was a fun oil change.

All fluids ok and tires and brakes really good.
Transmission dipstick was seized on. I might break it getting it off so best purchase a new first.

Some lights on in the dash but I think itís judt a sensor. Iíll have to get the code read as I donít have a reader.

Outer tie rods arenít geasable but easy enough to change. Inners are something I havenít seen before. Like a cv joint.

Its a nice car to drive. Seems very responsive on the road with tight steering.
Gas mileage is better then my truck with the V6 4.2L.lol

Default Iím wondering about a code

So the auto shop told me the code read is P0026. Something about the fuel intake.
Check engine light, cruise control light and steering control light come on and off at the same time(mostly stay on).
Iím to bring it to the dealership they said.

Also, the tranny dipstick they could not get out either. They said a transmission shop.

This is a good auto shop Iíve been going to for years when I get stuck so they are reputable.

I need help with advice. I want to keep the Subaru. It an 08 Impreza.
And opinions would be appreciated
