Default Wheel size

I have a 02 WRX and I'm looking to change wheel size but I do not know how big I can go with out having to change anything on the front end

I would look at an online place like TireRack.com.
Put in your year, make and model. Look up wheel and tire packages, I believe they also give options for larger rims.
They will list rims and tire sizes that keep gearing and odo/speedo correct.
You "may" be able to do a 20" rim with a "rubberband" tire.
Not what I would recommend.

This forum also has a tire section with great stickies that talk about wheel/tire fitment.
I would research both.

Ditto Tire Rack. they won't recommend something that would adversely effect the car or require modifications.
