I wasn't sure I was going or not. When the day came I was tired of working on my car, and the post said it wasn't a Subaru only thing, so I kinda last minute called it. I do that a lot.

Not sure anyone will care, but when I get my regular ride back on the road (this weekend?) and find some time (which will probably be June or later) I'm going to Meteor Crater dammit probably by way of Jerome and Sedona. I'll mention it on here with a little warning if anyone cares to cruise around for the day.

Maybe - finished school this week. Saw you leaving your house in Paulden this morning. I was in a silver quest with my wife. Would have waved but didn't think you'd recognize or notice. Get your idling issues sorted yet?

Eh I always return a wave! And no sir, still is in limp mode haha. I'm getting roughly 125 miles per tank... I have no clue what it could be.

In other news, I did a thing. Why? Because stationwagon racecar. Or something like that. Maybe because I was bored. But hey it works so whatever lol

Any check engine light? I think have a repair manual that pertains to your car. I believe they blink codes after you unplug something. I gave up and pulled the factory ecu long ago.
Nice job on the strut tower bar. It looks stiffer than the cheap Ebay ones, which twist like a rubber band.

Yup it's throwing a p0100 and a p0101. MaF open a circuit and MaF range and performance.

Thanks! My dad originally welded up that "u" piece out of 2" steel pipe as a kayak rack for the old dodge. But it's just been collecting dust so I chopped 5" out the middle and threw it in my car. It'll be interesting when/if he notices lol. It's really heavy compared to like the eBay aluminum ones but like you said it ain't going anywhere!

What's up everyone? I'm Steven, from Prescott. I acquired a 99 Legacy L 30th Edition. In the process of rebuilding it. I bought it from a 17 year old kid in Phoenix who tapped a wall on the passenger side. Got it for $300. It needed a clutch bad, but it runs and drives. Replaced the clutch with a Exedy Stage 2 and lightweight flywheel. I also have a complete kit for the water pump, timing belt, and new pulleys I've yet to install. I hope to have it on the road soon. It's my RallyX car

Welcome Steven, nice project. Was kinda hoping to find a project legacy wagon myself to put my spare motor in. Its not me getting the engines, usually I'm picking up small things like window switches and interior panels. I know a couple guys who are out there, building Frankenstein motors with used parts. Never works out though, lol. You can go on their website and sign up for a vehicle notification subscription. I think employees are taking or notifying friends of the good stuff.

Welcome Steven - as usliberty said, seems like an inside job to me. I've seen one, maybe two subarus with the engines intact there.

Ya I go on and get alerts when new ones come in. I got some front end odds and ends for my project from an Outback. The engine was a complete 2.5, I went back 3 days later and it was completely gone. Still on the hunt for a 3.0 H-6 but that's wishful thinking

Weather is getting nice, we should get a meet going. My vote is for the liquor deli downtown or tastebudds pizza. Anyone else interested?

Does Caleb have a WRB hatch? If so, he works down the street from me. Nice guy!

Would be up for a meet but vacationing this weekend in CA with the family.

It's the stock BPV from my 2004 Forester. I have no idea what the spring load is. I was at 12.5 then up to 14.5 psi
