Tranny time! Got tired of the short gears on the 97 Legacy tranny. Decided to go with the coveted 05 LGT tranny!

Car jacked up.

Rear diff being swapped.

Old tranny pulled and the new one ready to be installed.

The rear diff swapped right over. The tranny required stubs out of an 04 STi so that I could use my axles. It also doesn't have a speed sensor in it so I had to get one from dccdpro that ran off ABS which was a problem not having ABS. So I had to get a new hub that had ABS. Besides that and getting a new clutch I just had to swap out sensors and it was a direct bolt in.

STI Limited lip spoiler. BAM! Done. Car would be hot. Then, non-stock wheels. BAM! Hotter. THEN, window tint, at least 30% all around. BAM! HOTNESS MAXED OUT, SON!

Or just swap to JDM bugeye headlights and call it a day since the headlights are the biggest thing holding them back.

Rear bumper swap to a 2004 and source some tail lights.

I thought he had JDM headlights? I distinctly remember seeing a black NA bugeye with jdm lights a year back...

What kinds of problems, if any, have you had with your motor since you started? Summer conditions vs winter conditions?

I've seen other members use the EJ25D heads on their 2.2 build and curious to know how you're liking it so far being matched with your block.

I am very happy. Finally figuring out all of the bugs now. It pulls HARD. Little too hard for winter use lol. I think the 18g is a little too much turbo for a 200k block though.

Only problem I would say is the bov with a maf.

I'd like to take a ride in that one day. Probably when the roads are free from ice and snow. Are you still using stock internals? Pistons, rods, crank, and bearings?
