My dealer, the website, the online brochure & the brochure I have from the dealer all state cruise control is NOT an option on the base model. Sorry. If it was pre-ordered on an assumption from 2011 models that sucks! If you just ordered last week I'd cancel that order & go with premium & see if your dealer can work something out with you. But once the official pricing and trim levels came out it should've been clear to them it's not standard on the base. I can't believe Subaru said it's standard. It is on Premium & Limited (& both Sports)

Why does the Brochure have a wagon pictured with a color that does not exist. It was close to WRB. I will take a pic when I get back home.

The intrepid doesn't park there. That's just water dripping. Been foggy here. But I'll double check it just in case. Thanks.

Reminds me. I do need to clean the garage where the intrepid has been parked.

I am not terribly amused with that MPG since I drive like a snail. Hopefully that is just because it has been cold and I let the car warm up until the blue light goes out. I am driving 1,000 miles on Wednesday and Thursday, hopefully I can get over the rated highway MPG numbers.
I put mine on fuely today. Have not had any fill ups yet. I do have to say that if the MOHs don't start increasing soon I may be upset. My V6 intrepid was getting 25 mpg. If I only get 28 outa the impreza I won't be happy. I have hight hopes for after the Break in period. If I can end up averaging 34 mpg I'll be happy

F#%@!!!!

I emailed SOA yesterday pissed off that I haven't heard anything from both them and my dealer about the car. Furthermore, I have to call them to get more info which my dealer doesn't even have.

The guy calls me today apologizing and saying my car's eta is Jan 20, but he have called my dealer and there's two cars there with similar options that maybe I can switch for. If my car is all ready and prepped in Boston then why is the ETA this long?

I'm in the losing end here. Can't get my car, have to wait, or settle for a different car.

For all that have taken delivery, congrats. JB the car looks sexy, curious why you didn't get the front spoiler when you got the rest around.

Someone give me a grandfather clock so I can smash it on youtube and send the vid to SOA...

I thought about it, but I didn't want to lower the clearance on the front. Glad I didn't get it - I have had the car for less than 48 hours and have already pulled into 2 spots where if I had the spoiler in the front I would have scratched it (still learning where this car starts and stops in relation to the curb).

That, and I only had some much money for options - that item was least important to me.

Default Please, take a look at your headlights!

So a few days ago, I wrote about having condensation in my headlights. There weren't many people who wrote with the same observation, and maybe that's because everyone is over excited about their new impreza, that they haven't taken the time to look. I contacted SOA and they said they haven't heard of this problem before. Of course, they said to take it to the dealer and they will take care of it, but if you do have condensation in your headlights, please let SOA know, so that the problem can be taken care of, prior to sale.

and post it here, as well... just to see if it's just a random problem.

Thanks

I have the 1/20 ETA, ordered in Nothern NJ as well (pre-order date 10/31), SOA has been telling me 1/20 for a while. Last week I saw my car show up as in transit, with a VIN, when looking at dealer inventory on the subaru website. Confirmed with the dealer that it's my car, but now the listing has disappeared. I'm trying not to think about the wait, but I'm hoping that I don't get screwed if interest rates change.

I ordered a CVT sport premium-- haven't seen any other ones of that variety in any color show up at the dealership, wondering if some models are shipping later.

There is a CVT sport premium parked next to my car on the lot in Albany, NY (Sky Blue).

I don't think it is a manufacturing issue.

Looks good! I ordered mine with the splash guards and front underspoiler but no strakes or sport grill. I figurered I could get the grill later and then I could maybe sell my grill to someone looking to get rid of the chrome. I like the side molding on yours too, i didn't order those, same thing, out of money for options, lol.

FYI, i had deposits out from 2 other Northern NJ dealers and they both don't have the car in yet. but this 3rd one came thru and surprisingly had the car in early.

Im in NY too and I ordered around 10/30/11 and my estimated delivery date from SOA is 1/20/12 as well. I went into the dealership on Saturday to have them look at my trade and give me an estimate and I found out that the sales guy ordered the 5dr when I want the sedan/premium/ISM.

The only car they have coming in thats not pre-sold is a sedan/premium/CRP with all weather package that they are willing to give me for the price of a regular premium for making the mistake. The only thing I dont know yet is if I like that red.

My old Honda Fit was getting 23-24 mpg on the first couple of fill ups when it was new and I bought it in winter. After it broke in, I was getting 32-33 all the time even with spirited driving (if one can do that in a Fit).

Im prepared to give my Impreza time to stretch its legs. Plus its winter here, so the cold can't be helping.

I've also found that my Impreza speakers are sounding better as I break them in.

Just started looking at these, this thread is overwhelmingly long. What are people getting the Sport Premium wagons for out the door?

I can't find a pic of a white sport anywhere except the lame one on Subaru build-it page... Anyone else seen one? I can't decide on a color and want to see the sport alloys against a white body.

I pre-ordered mine on 10/24, got an ETA of 12/9 from SOA (after contacting them in mid-November since I never received the gift emailing), and took delivery on 12/12 from Ramsey Subaru. When the car was no longer listed as "In-Transit" on the website it was about 3 days before the dealership called me on 12/9 to say that the car was in and they were swapping out the MC. I got more communication from SOA than I did from the dealership. From what I've been hearing, each dealership was pre-allocated certain number regardless of the order dates and if you're lucky, and you may match up to one already manufactured and on the boat, you'll get the car sooner. It's just a matter of doing the PIOs from your order before they ship it to the dealership.

Roll with the color. I think that the 500 dollar package they are giving you is a good consolation. I am biased though, my Sport is going to be CRP.

That's what you paid for a Sport Premium? CVT? Any add ons? That's a crazy low price for a Sport Premium.

+1 Silver is so common. That red is nice, and you'll be able to spot your car that much easier in a crowd of cars.
