I bought a JDM V7 STi hood scoop from them back in November. I saved around $25 from buying from anyone in the US and it was a genuine Subaru part. And that's including shipping and currency conversion. They also provide tracking information. I noticed it spend two days in customs.

I haven't installed it yet, waiting until I get my car painted. I'm planning on buying from them again.

The hardest part is making sure it's the part you want. I'm looking for a different trunk emblem and I'm not familiar with all the codes. They have a form where you can ask for more information, but I haven't tried using it.

Even though the pricing at Japanparts is somewhat unreasonable for North American customers but they really have something authentically OEM stuff that can't find anywhere else at least for me.

I think when you consider the costs they pay to get container shipments from japan, its all pretty reasonable.

Especially for stuff like the Burn-Up body parts. Available no where else in the USA that I am aware of.

sorry but i think you're off base.

they are actually usually cheaper than the stores here. they carry Cusco WAY cheaper than anywhere here does. even with shipping they are less.

I've bought from them several times. Service is great. Any questions you can post a message and Yuki will get back to you quickly.

Also they give great tracking info. I've watched a package leave Tokyo then followed it through Alaska and LA where it went though customs.

If I remember correctly my past orders have taken between two and three weeks to arrive. I think they give tracking info.

I've always had good results with them (used them at least 20 times) though the time difference makes things weird. I typically get emails back near midnight for me from them.

I've also had good experiences with Japanparts.com. Emails were replied to usually within 1-2 business days from being sent. Tracking information was also sent within a week or two.

Only ONCE in the YEARS that I've done business with them, a part was no longer in production and in stock in warehouses in Japan. They promptly informed me over email and refunded my account. I was, however, able to find the part from a Subaru of Europe dealership a few weeks later.

On the opening webpage, there is a calendar in the lower right hand corner that tells you when Japanparts.com is open or closed. They are closed on weekends and major US holidays, in addition to the holidays celebrated in Asia. Remember to take that into account when you order.

Had nothing but a good experience with them. Website was easy to use and parts arrived quickly from Japan with good prices. I was a little hesitant at first, but now couldn't be happier.

I have nothing, but very good things to say. Some of their prices are much cheaper than other places. Shipping most of the time is very fast and I usually get the parts in 3 days including clearing customs.
