Default GD Seat rail compatibility

So, I have seats from a 2005 9-2X Aero, but the seat rails have some rust near the mounts. I bought some 2002 WRX seats, but the seat mounts on the rails are slightly different. I tried taking the slides apart, but I think there's a welded limit stop.... What year seat rails should I get?

I tried searching on here and posting on the saab 9-2x forums and didn't get satisfactory answers.

These are pics from the driver's side.

I haven't heard of any issues fitting GD seats into a 9-2x. Since you have everything pulled apart, try setting the rails into the floor pan and see how the mounting points line up. The ones that are most important are the four going directly into the floor pan.

the bugeye and blobeye seat rails are different, you will need to get 04-05 WRX seat rails to be compatible with your 9-2x seats. why not just knock all that rust off your seat rails and using a rust inhibitor like por-15 or spray paint them?

Thanks. Too bad i didnt know about the different rails beforehand....
The rust on one of them is really bad.
I took a wire brush to another and it's fine.
