2024 Subaru Forester
Rumor mill churning...
Debut in 2024... Subaru "Forester" next model, Toyota "THS" hybrid adopted next-generation "e-BOXTER" installed The Forester, which has become the main SUV that supports Subaru's backbone, will soon undergo a full model change. How will the new Forester, which will be renewed for the first time in six years, evolve? The scoop site "Spyder7" predicts that appearance. The first generation of Forester was born in 1997. The current model, which is the fifth generation, was released in 2018. It was particularly popular in North America, and became Subaru's top model in global sales. That's why the next new model should be a pretty enthusiastic model. The focus is on the powertrain. It is said that the installation of the next-generation "e-BOXTER", which combines a 2.0-liter horizontally opposed 4-cylinder engine (FB20 type) + Toyota "THS" strong hybrid, is promising, and the boxer engine, which had problems with fuel efficiency performance, will be replaced with the next-generation environment at once. It is expected that the powertrain will be updated. The advanced safety equipment "EyeSight" has also evolved significantly. It will be the highest level driving support system that utilizes 360-degree sensing with four radars, 3D high-precision map data, GPS + quasi-zenith satellite. Inside the cabin, a 12.3-inch full digital instrument cluster and a 11.6-inch high-precision display are installed, and it also supports "Apole CarPlay" and "Android Auto". And it's an interesting design. Spyder7 predicts its appearance based on the latest information. The front mask is powerful with a large grill. The headlights use LEDs that emphasize the "U" shape, which is the identity of Subaru vehicles, creating a sharp look. The Forester has a rugged image, but it will become an avant-garde and urban silhouette. The world premiere of the new Forester is expected after the summer of 2024. https://spyder7-com.translate.goog/a..._x_tr_pto=wapp

I was also thinking side to rear profile of a 15 year old Outlander.

I don't hate but I do wonder how close this is to reality (i.e. if this is based on a leak or just someone's rendering of what they think it'd look like).
The front looks like some kind of snake. Will be curious to see how the rear looks. IMO Foresters have always looked great from the front (nice blend of sharp lines/a mean look without being overbearing) but the last few generations have looked really bland in the rear, almost as if the front and rear ends don't belong to the same car. |

I can't imagine being emotionally affected by a vanilla people mover; that's all numbers/check boxes for me. I don't care what they look like, as long as they meet the requisite criteria (note: color was important to my wife when we bought her people mover, so there are levels of IDGAF involved here). Admittedly, I do get hung up on literally ever aspect of my enthusiast/performance car, so if Forester styling is a breaking point for you, I can accept it; I mean heck, it's a Forester, why are you buying that over a Rav4 anyways? I'm sure you have your reasons; drive what you like. IDGAF about vanilla people movers (until my wife asks me to GAF about vanilla people movers, then I get her what she wants). I'm sure the masses will appreciate the marketing; dogs, love, overlanding, etc.

Strong Hybrid + Boxer = winner
The C shaped lights design has been popping up a lot in Viziv concepts. The current WRX clawed headlight is an example. These claw type headlights are very Nissan, and frankly, Subaru over the years has constantly used Nissan design/ similar parts (perhaps suppliers). |

I don't think I've checked since the SGP was introduced with all the changes it brought(first new designed interior door handles in 20 years); but, the window switches were/are from Nissan.

The 4-pot 2-pot WRX brake setup (non-Brembo) was derived from the 300zx brakes as well if I'm not mistaken |
