Thats me, I've had the car about a month now. No more temp plates, but tint and this week I'm thinking about getting some eibach springs. Just not really sure if they're worth the hassle with the warranty. Car is pretty slow, but makes up for it in the corners. I had a 03 24v vr6 gti before this.

Thanks, I try and keep it clean. Yeah, all the way in the back. I work at WPAFB, and in Springfield right by the Airport/ANG base. I ran into the other BRZ on here not more than a week ago, and got way too excited about it. Do you guys ever meet up at all? The guys on cincyscoobs get together on a regular basis. Not sure why there isnt more of a community with the amount of cars in the area. What ever happened to the sears parking lot meet ups? I can remember driving by in my GTI and being jealous.

I work at Wright Patt as well (active military.) What part/bldg do you work? I'm over on DaytonSubies.com as well but the forum has been a ghost town for quite some time now I get on every so often...currently in the process of becoming a Moderator so that I can get things going again and start scheduling stuff like they do on CincyScoobs.

The Sears parking lot/Red Robin meets died about 2 years ago, sadly. The guy who usually put them together sold his WRX and just completely stopped getting involved on the forum. As I mentioned before, I will try to get things going again in this area! Feel free to join the local forum and hopefully you'll see things pick up!

I work in Bldg 620 in area B, and in 268 in area A. I'll be commuting to Blue Ash starting tomorrow to work at my ANG base in Cincy starting tomorrow (I'm in the Guard). As soon as you get Mod privileges let me know. What are your plates? I think I saw you at the hanger a few nights ago, but I parked on the other side of the lot. I think they were 1BADWRX...or something like that.

Yeah, there are a few STI's on area b. There is a really nice bugeye that parks over by the bbq trailer in the extended parking lot for 650 with a cobb tuning sticker on the trunk. Always been a fan of that thing, a newer sti in the parking lot for building 45, and a white sti in the 620 lot.

Picking up my WRX tonight. I had an RS about 5 years ago, and have been mainly a BMW guy since then, but found a nice WRX that I couldn't pass up. I live in Bellbrook, and would love to participate in some meets if we throw some together. Can't wait to pick everyone's brain and learn about my new mode of transportation

Check out cincyscoobs.com, most of the Dayton guys are registered there. Most of us seem to spend more time there than we do here.

Also in Eaton, whiskeytech. I've seen your old WRX and your BRZ on Main St. Did you have green steelies on your WRX last year? If so, that looked awesome.

My WRX has been gone for a few months now but it's being rebuild by a guy here in Eaton that also has a silver bugeye wagon so you guys might see it around.

Malek, you have a blue bugeye now? Send me a pic if you still have my #.

I have a '96 OBS now with 250k miles. I'm considering a 2013 Legacy (old man car.)

Thanks, I still have those green steelies! If I don't get some other wheels they're going on the BRZ too! Maybe I'll go orange this winter.

Are you planning on driving your BRZ throughout the winter? I have been considering it, or buying another vehicle for the months with snow.

I figured i would give it a shot this winter and get a Forester next winter if I have any problems. Sucks not having the confidence of AWD though.

Speaking of SVX's, there is a girl in the beavercreek area that drives one. White with black wheels. Maybe 18 or 19's...I've only seen it twice. Once at night at a stop light on North Fairfield, and then again driving by on the same road during lunch hours. Anyone know who that is? I think I'm going to probably drive through the winter, but one storm with 3 or 4+inches of snow and I am more than likely going to break down and buy an AWD or another VW.
