2015 WRX & STI Known Problems / Warranty Concerns
  • WRX & STI Trunk Chipping Issue: Reports of chipped paint on the edge of the trunk deck from contact with the rear 1/4 panel of the car. Cause to be determined but suspected that either the bumpstops/latch adjustment from the factory is too low causing contact when slamming the trunk shut OR possibly due to the tie-down straps used during shipping from Japan to North America being too tight.
  • 2015 WRX & STI Base Radio Glitch: when programming presets on XM radio, the steering wheel controls for changing stations increase by the # of the last preset pressed

Oops, fixed it

Also added a link to a video on how to disable seatbelt beep. Apparently the passenger seat sensor is ridiculously touchy on the 2015's so this will be something ppl will want to do ASAP.

Yes, but this thread is probably one of the better 2015 threads.

If you need to bash one, bash a more useless 2015 thread...not one that this OP put a serious amount of effort in.

There was one thread. The mods shut it down and asked people to post in various threads here, and other subforums.

Honestly, I do agree that the 2015 really needs it's own section. But Nasioc wanted it this way, and this is what we got.

And it will only get worse as the 2015 community grows.

anyways, added LED illumination kit part #'s, install instructions, interior illumination mod link and homelink mirror part numbers.
