![]() I am looking at what power numbers turbos should produce. I see a lot of threads in PPB with people running 100 or E85, but little with 91. What would a Garrett GTX3071R Gen II produce in an '05 STi on 91 octane with a large TMIC, 272 cam, and other appropriate fuel, built engine, etc mods make? (Rough estimate, of course.)

![]() On pump, id say 380-400whp conservatively. 410-430 if you get a little more aggressive. Theres plenty of places to look into that info as well, checking shops dyno databases is a good start.

![]() Really depends on the dyno.
have you baselined your car? You could have 1 dyno say your car makes 500 whp on 91, and another say 400. It means nothing unless you have a baseline number to go off of. for lulz, I'd say 380-400 whp on 91. |

![]() Really? That's higher than I thought--esp for 91 octane.

a 3071 on 91? Probably 360 tops or slightly less on a dyno if it isn't high reading. 3071 has similiar power output to a 20g with a big hotside except the 3071 can match the low end of the stock turbo. Back in the day when I had my 06' I was planning on moving from a clipped 20g-td06 with EWG to a 3071R and there were lots of dyno sheets available back then with the 3071 setups and on 93 they were about 360 but the low end was amazing having a largish turbo that could spool as fast as a VF. |
