News Need some advice on new SMOG rules in the Bay Area

I know no one wants to read another emissions thread so I apologize.

I'll try to keep it short:

Same setup for 8 years. 02 WRX with catted COBB downpipe.

Passed smog no problem in San Diego, LA and San Francisco. Recently went to get it smogged at a place that has done it 3 times. My car runs clean. This time he says he can't pass me because I have parts that aren't stock.

Go somewhere else and told the same thing. They are only doing visual inspections now and if the pipes aren't stock, they won't even test them.

My stock downpipe was stolen out of my brothers garage for scrap metal.

So now what? Just eat the huge cost of buying a whole new pipe from Subaru? If I have to I will, but wanted to ask here first.

I really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Oh and if anyone knows exactly which parts I need to order, that would be a great help. I think the stock pipe was in two pieces.

You will need the OEM downpipe. Should cost less than $100 on craigslist or someone on iclub.
