This car keeps moving up on my list. The Integra is off the list - not only ugly but 7" longer than the Civic hatch it's based on, wtf Acura.

It's probably this or the Type R, but if the GR is half as fun to drive as the GR4, it wins.

I'm ok with a 270 hp GTI fighter or 320 hp Gold R competitor, but I want at least the AWD from the GR4 if not the diffs. If it's FWD, that's just an FU from Toyota America and I'll pass.

If it comes with or has an option for the circuit pack (front/rear torsen LSD's), it's my next car. If not, it's an 86/BRZ. It's just a question of which Toyota product. The MT article is half correct. While tuners in Japan are hitting that HP, tuners in Australia are already at 450-475 HP at the hubs. If the diffs come it's a Golf R/STi competitor. No diffs then they will target the WRX and I won't buy an AWD car without those diffs. They f'd us on the Yaris so I'm not taking it a second time. I'd rather just spend less and get a RWD platform. Hopefully we know something soon. They have to show the car by Spring. It's been in the works the whole time.

Yeah I am struck by that too. Varmint where did you get that information from? Have official specs/dimensions been released for the Integra?

The Acura guy who mentioned the length said they wanted it to look like a sedan. I don’t think you can understand this crap unless you work for Acura. It’s 2” shorter than a Mustang.

Acura product planner in this article says it’s 1-2” longer than the sedan which means 6-7” longer than the hatch. You can see the overhangs are larger especially the rear.

Toyota put a manual in the Corolla hatch already, the engineers are on board, if not the marketing team (who used an auto in the teaser photo lol).

So did Mazda with the 3, then they gave it a turbo and AWD and made it AT only.
