Pretty much all 16" will clear, some 15" will clear on the wrx... I wanted to get these but the eta keeps getting pushed back:

I didn't know Brembos fit under the 17" WRX wheels, even with a spacer.

Yep, 10mm longer studs & 5mm spacers did the trick. Got more than 15K miles including several track days with no issues...

Blizzak WS60, 245/40/18 on the stock wheels. Snowed most of this past weekend so I figured I might as well take some pics and make my first post haha.

That's a damn good snowing! Do you have any pics o the tires mounted before it snowed? Want to see what they look like on the car. Don't see many people going with 18" Winters on the stockers.

Also how much did that run you if you don't mind me asking?

Love that 3 wheel driveway entry photo! Its an everyday classic for those with stiffer setups since there are alot of crappy driveways out there haha

Great addition to the thread, you seem to be intelligent since your wondering if you need snow tires in Florida. Hmm that's a tough one.

My apologies to the person I originally said that to, I guess I read it wrong.

On a side note I picked up some LGT Snowflakes just need to get some tires, what's are your thoughts on the general altimax tires xluben?

Apology accepted, and no need to be bashing people asking questions. I'm sorry to burst your bubble but you don't know everything. You never will know everything. People ask questions for a reason. I'm sure you have asked just as many questions as that gentleman or lady. So stop bashing people and telling them they are not intelligent. Who knows, he or she could be WAY smarter than you. Now you can say I'm bashing you, but I'm not. I'm sticking up for this person who just asked a simple question.

Proceed to post winter setups

I'll take some pics tomorrow at work once I finally clean the snow out of the wheels(vibrates like a son of a bitch lol). I paid just under $1300 for the set, mounted myself at work so no charge for install.

Snow shoes =! snow tires, but ill give that to you, "winter shoes" would have been a better use of words. id hope you are aware that summer tires dont do well in colder weather right? You do know it gets colder in northern Florida right?

That looks like a killer time dude, I'm jealous. My lady HATES camping when it's cold so it only happens in the summer time.

Car looks good too of course
