Default Power to be made after TBE/Tune

Hey guys, I was curious what the next step would be, I don't want to go for an aftermarket turbo yet, so injectors and fuel pump are out of the question, what are methods via bolt ons and tuning that i can make raw numbers off of?

I'd say it depends on what your goals are with the car. Have you decided for sure that you want a turbo upgrade in the future? If so, then maybe you might want to consider a FMIC. IMO, slightly overkill on the stock turbo (especially depending on size), but it is preparing for future modifications. Another thing you might be interested in an aftermarket header. You will gain some top end power because of the larger diameter tubing for the increased flow, but you could probably expect a few hundred rpms slower spool and less midrage torque because of this.

That sounds good, I was thinking of a Turbo Manifold/Uppipe, would I gain anything just by bolting these two on or would tuning be required?

P&P stock exhaust manifold, flow of headers with quicker spool and no reliability problems.
If you want considerably more, alky injection.
I see you have an STI, so you dont really need an up pipe as yours has no converter.

I would definately PnP the stock manifold, and do all the "little" stuff like I/C hoses, better flowing uppipe (although the STI unit is catless, it still doesn't flow as well as a good quality aftermarket), lightweight pulleys, etc.

^^^ uppipe? I'm not sure if the flow is gonna be better, but even if it's better, it's not worth the money... water injection FTW...

Personally, I would have to agree with you even though I earlier suggested an aftermarket header. I have run both myself and do prefer the ported stocker, but it isn't really much of a power adder.

APS cai
Samco turbo inlet hose
Better TMIC

All of those will net you more power. You WILL have to tune for the TMIC, and yuo probably should for the inlet, the CAI you shouldnt need to touch anything.

The water injection. This will require massive tuning, but its not hard, and the gains are huge
