My dislike of bland colors comes from having owned a silver wagon for the past 10+/- years where nobody sees me, and it gets door dinged & I get cut off etc. all the time, so I like bold "look at me" colors. Would love a yellow like the S207 though; of the current available colors for the WRX/Sti though, I'd have to take the red, even though I don't love it.
If only you could get that wheel color on a WRB. I canít stand the dark colored wheels that come on the STIs these days.

I'd like to think that my Hyper Blue falls in the "look at me" category, but I still get door dinged and cut off just like I did with my silver Hatchback. Bold colors don't help you when the average driver is a complete dolt too buried in their infotainment system to notice and too reliant on their "driver assist" programs to do the watching for them.

Back to the Heritage Blue, I agree that it's more of a "Classy WRX" type of color, and it looks the part with the BRZ as well. Perhaps the Heritage Blue would be more of a welcome color if it wasn't "more of the same". Subaru either needed to make Heritage Blue really stand out or, in contrast, offer a bunch of stand-out colors on their other models to help differentiate this one.

Heritage Blue falls into the "everyday" colors category too easily which really only leaves the WR Blue Pearl and Pure Red for WRX and WRX STI lines as stand out color options.

Get this....some people donít want to stand out. And itís a nice trait to have something that blends well, a sleeper. Less attraction by others. On the current WRX, silver looks real good, best color with those wheels.

Iíve owned many silver cars and never got a single door ding. But I donít get door dings in general. Walking is good for my automobiles and their paint.

I am pretty cautious of where I park, and my wrb wrx has been hit 4 times while parked, let alone door dings and scratches. All happend with the dolts in Seattle. I've given up caring. I used to be a detailer and until I gave up on caring about my cars finish, it pained me to look at my car. Now it wears a layer of grime all winter so I can forget about the imperfections.

Yeah, with the Foresters both being in the more expensive "Touring" trim level, it'll be important for dealers to move that inventory before the new ones are announced. If it is announced at NYIAS, there's less than two months before that hits. However, with the 2019 Forester slated for release in October of this year, so I wonder if it'll be a "concept" at NYIAS instead?

Either way, I still think Heritage Blue is a "nice" color. I'm not a fan of it on the STI with those Highlighter Green calipers, but it does look sharp on that WRX body.

The dealer I work for got our 50th Anniv WRX today, i didn't like the color in photos, but after seeing it outside in the sun today, i think it looks great.

Considering pulling the trigger on it

Didn't see anything wrong with them.

Nah. The 50th anniversaries will sell no problem.

I'm looking at one right now from a local dealership. Just trying to make sure the price justifies the purchase. I'll be trading in my 2017 WRX. The color looks great in person...pictures just don't do it justice.

I'd really like to have the 50th anniversary wheels on my '15. Any idea what they'd cost?

Make the 50th anniversary color available on limited STI's only. Problem solved.
