I ran it for a short time before selling the wagon, and let's just say that if it fit the STi, it wouldn't be for sale.

I did a total of 2 burnouts, and can honestly say that I really liked how the car drove RWD. It was like a 240sx turbo, no joke. The steering was light, and after making some rear swaybar adjustments (put the stocker back on) it felt good on the road.

Granted, this is coming from a guy who almost bought a Supra, RX7, IS300, or 350z before springing for the STi.

subiedrift, the axle replacements are for the front.
You don't have to remove the front axles, but I did anyway as it made the steering feel a lot better without them. They're both the inner and outer CV's, minus the shaft.

If one decides to go with this for drifting purposes, I'd also go with a larger R180 diff and rear axles. But this should be more for those pushing a few hundred hp. Anything less than 230whp and the stock setup should be sufficient for RWD.

I'm glad you mentioned the lack of cash situation, since I'll consider trades for things too.

Entertainment equipment, home/car stereo stuff, nitro R/C truck/car, compound bow or crossbow, mtn bike parts, w.h.y.

You could run 500 hp with this, or run 150 hp and still break things, that's the nature of these cars. With that said, I know of a few RWD WRX in the US that run high power, drag launch weekly on slicks, and still haven't had a problem.

Breaking parts usually has to do with the big nut behind the wheel more than anything.

It really is a fun mod.
It allows you to partake in 2wd dyno days, and really show those Hondas what torque is.
