What's the difference between a 2.5RS and a 2.5i?

Not much dealing with that year (2004 RS vs. any GD 2.5i)

I think they have some WRX trim prices, but so does the 2.5i sport model. I always assumed it was the older version of the sport N/A. Looks alright but lacks what really matters.

I have a 2.5i, people that don't know Subaru can't tell the difference but no one with a hood scoop has ever waved at me haha.

When this happens...at Jimmy John's. Then talk to the owner about mods, tires and the winter

You know you drive an STi when people on the internet hate on you for doing "stance" but receive nothing but compliments in person even from other subie owners lol

When the first car you bought after a honda civic was a 04 WRX, only to sell it for a 06 STI.

When you're not allowed to drive in your friends gated community because your car is too loud.

When you can't even make it home the first day with your car without calling your parts guy for new toys.

When a cop turns around in the middle of traffic and follows you for the next 10 miles ALL THE WAY TO BEST BUY, PULLS UP NEXT TO YOU AND ASKS YOU WHY YOU PARKED IN THE BACK OF THE PARKING LOT! and you calmly look at him and respond "because racecar" and walk away.

When you feel like you more money comes outta your checks for gas then food, but who needs food when you drive a scooby.

You beat your co-workers to your car. Not because you don't want to get wet, but you can't wait to drive.

ALSO!

- When your girlfriend knows the difference between and up-pipe and a down-pipe because you've been talking about buying them for 2 months straight.

- When you ratchet your seat as low as it can go to maintain a low center of gravity.

- When you give your co-worker a ride home in your car and find him foaming at the mouth surfing AutoTrader the next day at work (he's buying one this weekend, lol!)

- When you curse yourself EVERY... SINGLE... DAY... of your life because you ended up with the 4EAT instead of a manual. (FML!!!!!!!!!!)

- When you spend an entire day performing maintenance on your car... and it felt like a getaway.

- You convert Yen to USD 100x more than you did before you bought your car.

- You drive a wagon... and you still look good.

- You drive a wagon... and you still beat Hondas.

- You're saving up money to go to Team O'Neil.

- You've experienced brake fade on your way to work. (Did this today)

When... um... your car is new and always find excuses to go outside and look at it?

That wasn't a good one... but I washed it twice within 4 days o.O. I even went out and spent 20 minutes getting the EXACT right pressure in each tire. Why? Because TV and life sucks when you're don't start college until January, but when you see your car, it's all okay again!

that's not bad. when I got my z28 I really did wash it or clean it every single day. if anything I would spray it off and wipe it down if it wasn't really dirty. I can't imagine what I'm going to be like when I get this STI. I'm getting itchy waiting. gonna be in lala land and the gf is gonna be driven crazy.

When you girlfriend knows more about cars than most guys...

And

When your girlfriend is bored of doing homework and decides to surf the Web for parts for your car.

When you feel cops cut across three lanes of the highway just to run your plates and make you feel like your doing something wrong and then proceed to follow your every lane change for the next ten minutes to try and catch you doing something.

Depends on where you live. I mean sure "stance" might be complimented if you live in a trailer park or california or are friends with nothing but 16 year olds or filipinos or just graduated from honda and are showing off your car to your honda buddies.

Setting cool tyre pressures is lame. Hot off the track.
