I would normally clean with a strong polish/steel wool for SS/Chrome tips but never had burnt titanium tips before and I have read that abrasive/strong stuff can fade the blue.

get SOS pads. They have soap in them to prevent the steel wool from scratching the exhaust tips. As long as you use plenty of soap and the steel wool is fine enough, you shouldn't have to worry about scratches

Thank to you guys for the tips! just polished my cobb exhaust, looks new again! i let the soot sit for too long so it was a pain to do too...
