Yes, but tire size will depend on suspension and camber.

you're in A-stock and you want 17x9s?

and why the 9" wheels for the street if you're running A-Stock?

and no, you'll need more camber in the rear to clear the fenders

the plan is to run dual classes next year....

I'll show up to the events.. with
17x9 wheels with 245/40-17" hankook R-S2's for STU/ Street-tire duty..

and have on my tire trailer a set of Hankook 275/40-17 Z214's
on stock wheels with 1/4 spacers... (inless I can find a wheel that is made in both widths.. for A-stock.. if I decided to run that class that day.

but you're saying even at a 43mm offset I'll have to add camber on stock springs??

I'm open to suggestions..

why not just run BSP with some 17x9 +43mm wheels.

and any 17x8 +48mm will fit running 275/40 v710s

It's already listed, but I confirm.
Kosei K3 wheel, 18x8.5 +50mm fits well with MY07 STi.
But with 225-40 R18 tires, I would say 18x8 will look better, as wheel is more protruded outside of tire with 18x8.5. Maybe it will depend on personal preference.

no, even if they do, I've feared the day someone would ever attempt to mount those terrible wheels on an STi or any subaru for that matter.

offset/width don't work well either.

From The Tire Rack website:
ASA JH3 17inch
is that will fit the 04 STi nicely? (but the offset is not 53, it's only 48????)

Thanks
