I havent done it yet obviously, but in the spring, I am going to have my trunk keyhole shaved, thanks to low-life theives that broke into my trunk twice.

I had to weld the holes on my integra. That was upsetting, but once it was done it looked a lot less cluttered.

Too bad I don't have a pic of the de-badged wagon. Imho, it just makes things look better, especially with such a nice rear like the WRX has.

Does sun-fade come into effect when debadging? It would suck to debadge, then have a faded S U B A R U imprint.

as far as debadging, i took off the impreza and that is it. debadging also makes it look like i m doing stuff to the car and attract thieves. so i m leaving the big subuaru and wrx on.

i mean if you dont like it, just leave them all on...its really no big deal. nobody is gonna judge you.
Agree on the sidskirts. I bought some painted ones, and now the car looks 100% better.

Exactly, wingless with no badges makes it look like someone swapped a WRX hood onto a 2.5rs,

the large S U B A R U is not present on the back of JDM vehicles.
thats the only thing i removed, doesn't matter becuase people will still ask what it is, even with badging all over it.

If you are going to debadge, you really need to do it ASAP... waxing can help this though, I did my debadging 3 months (of sunny summer weather) after getting my car, and no problems. It also takes longer to get the badges off the longer you wait...

i took off the subaru basically cuz i didnt like the spacing on it. I took off the WRX basically so people think im stupid and just put a wrx hood on an RS, then i make them feel stupid... just to help my self-esteem then i left the impreza bar on to try and balance it out with the keyhole, looks ok.

I like the lack of the lock. I put on a VIS carbon fiber trunk and didn't drill for the lock. Will try to post a picture soon. Looks great with the c/f taillights. Clean.

You know the way dealers put their badges on cars they sell, I hate that. They don't pay me to advertise them. Subaru doesn't pay me to advertise for them either. Okay, it may be a lame reason, but it is true.

kolohe beat me to it. I dont' advertise for anybody (except the US Army tab on my uniform.) STi isn't gonna get any free advertising from me either. Hell, I paid for the car, they should lower the payment to keep that stuff on!!!

I also believe that if nothing else, people were put on this Earth for my amusement. When debadged, they ask, "What kind of car is that??" Here is my entertainment, "Uh, it's the new Camaro"

Kinda hard to have that much fun when you've got a big S U B A R U on the trunk.

one thing I was thinking about. When u get a parking ticket, and dont have the subaru badge in the back, how in the world would a cop know what kind of make it is? Maybe they'll make something up and we'll get out of the ticket by default technicality? LOL, wishful thinking I know.
