Alright, I'd like to see some pictures of the some cars that have been polished, clayed, and waxed. Let's see the mirror look on your car, show it off! then if you don't mind let me know what products you use, hopefully a lot of people post pics of their mirror like cars, cuz i want mine super shiny so i can stare at my car like this alien ->

This doesn't even come close to showing the end product of this weekend's car cleaing project, but you get the idea:

Here are the steps I took:

1> Washed w/ Meguiar's Gold Class carwash
2> Clayed the car (don't remember brand...sorry)
3> washed again w/ Gold Class
4> polished w/ Turtle Wax "Ice" polish
5> waxed w/ Meguiar's NXT wax

I can't wait to do mine and post up some pics. I use mostly Klasse products topped with p21s. I love Brewpub's car. That's a cool reflection pic.

Very very nice, I read somewhere though that you shouldn't apply wax to your new car until after a year, I don't know if that is a myth or not but from what I understand, air is still trying to escape from underneath the paint and by sealing your fresh paint over with wax, your not letting the air escape which could cause problems in the future. Don't take my word on this because it was something one of my friends who bought an 05 had told me, I don't have any sources to back my up except his word of speech. Very very nice car man, I love it!

^That applies to fresh paint and it's more like a month or so before waxing. It has to release solvents that's all.

That is a myth... the paint is baked on at the factory and there is not cure time.. also the time lag in which you get the car is a factor.. not repaints are diferent those you have to wait 1-3 months depending on if they use heat lamps or not.I clayed/polished/waxed my car the weekend i got it..

i have a question , i waxed my car for the first time today.. first time ever actually. i used mothers liquid wax.. the one in a bottle and u pour onto the application pad. i also have a tub of meguires "solid" wax. Is the hardened wax better or the liq better? also i dont want to mess up with the solid wax , idk how how much to use and what not. also my trunk and roof are still kinda rough.. its smooth , but not like the rest of my car , i put 2 coats on the trunk and roof... that did nothing

If any of you are really interested in a great looking detailed car you have to check out adamspolishes.com. I use these products and it turns out great, it also comes with an instructional video. Sorry no pics yet but will post.
