Default Accessport cable management?

Morning all, first post here!

Picked up an AP for for 2019 WRX a few months back, I currently have it mounted just to the left of the steering wheel on that small piece of dash before the drivers side window, I like the location and the mount I have, but I don't like the cable just laying there near the clutch anyone have their AP in a similar place and how do you keep the cable from getting in the way?

Thanks!

I wrap mine around the steering column a few times. It tucks in there quite nicely.

Thanks! is it super noticeable as it moves over to where the AP is? Not too worried about that but the more hidden the better

why don't you bundle it up down by the obdII port and zip tie the excess down there?

that's what I did for the 2 weeks I left that plugged in before I got tired of looking at the same numbers eternally

you could buy one of those dialed mount defroster vent mounts, the cable will then be routed through the dash and you wouldn't have to mess with it.

I route it through the gap in the steering column with the excess zip-tied and tucked in there. so it does not hit my leg. Fits pretty nicely.

I have a window mount that i put on the little window on the driver door. I bundled the cable under where the ODB port is and then drilled a small hole in the side of the little plastic hatch down there and fed the cable through it. When I don't have my AP hooked up I push the cable back into that hole and just the connector is visible. When I need it I just pull it out again.

I second the Dialed Mounts vent mount. Easy install and very clean.

I do the same thing, if you get it wrapped around evenly then it doesn't touch anything and looks fairly clean
