Default Help!: Pre 06 engine in an 07 impreza

Hey, new here, I recently bought an 07 impreza 2.5i. The original owner replaced the engine with a jdm 04 engine. He didnt swap out the old harness or anything so basically there are two connectors with nothing to plug into. I'm not completely positive what they plug into but he said they both have to do with the avls system. I'm pretty sure one of them is an oil pressure sensor and maybe the other is a solenoid? Either way the ecu is running the engine great but it will not allow the engine to rev above 4k rpms. Anyways, what can I do to resolve this problem? Could I use a resistor in place of the oil sensor or should I just get it tuned. Anyways any info is a big help! Thanks!

I think you can just plug in 2 avls solenoids even if they aren't attached to the motor. Or match up a resistor, don't think there is any kind of sensor that verifies the avls is actually working. It just looks for the solenoid to be plugged in.
