Geez! Look how close some of those people are to the cars! If that was here in the US and anything happened to the spectator who decided to stand that close to the track, you can bet there'd be lawsuits, Dateline specials and regulations galore.

Okay folks, I realize these aren't real rally pix, but they are from the worlds coolest video game.
if you have a pc, are a rally fan, and love your scooby.. Do yourself a favor, go buy a force feedback steering wheel, and Colin McRae Rally 2.0. Here are some shots from the game, uniballer style. <IMG SRC="http://fullon3d.com/reports/cmr2/impreza.cmr2.1.jpg" border=0> <IMG SRC="http://fullon3d.com/reports/cmr2/impreza.cmr2.2.jpg" border=0> <IMG SRC="http://fullon3d.com/reports/cmr2/impreza.cmr2.3.jpg" border=0> <IMG SRC="http://fullon3d.com/reports/cmr2/impreza.cmr2.4.jpg" border=0> <IMG SRC="http://fullon3d.com/reports/cmr2/impreza.cmr2.5.jpg" border=0> <IMG SRC="http://fullon3d.com/reports/cmr2/impreza.cmr2.6.jpg" border=0> <IMG SRC="http://fullon3d.com/reports/cmr2/impreza.cmr2.7.jpg" border=0> <IMG SRC="http://fullon3d.com/reports/cmr2/impreza.cmr2.8.jpg" border=0> Those shots are not Resampled. They were taken at 640x480 with 2x Full Scene Antialiasing (courtesy of Nvidia's GeForce2 Ultra). If you didn't understand that last line, that's okay, it is super secret computer gamer code for KICK ASS GRAPHICS. LOVE THE GAME! |

Yeah Rally Pumas are great! My uncle, who lives in Ireland, used to rally a Mini, which got me into Minis and rallying, but now, he's building up a Puma, which I hope will be even better...Pumas can't stand up to an Impreza to well, but they're still cool....

I'm sorry maybe this isnt the place, but why on almost every Impreza pic there are really thin crappy tires on them...I thought it was just the factory(RE92) that put on bad tires.

Mud or snow tires are typically thin and either studded (snow) or heavily grooved (mud). The thinner width helps them to cut through the soft stuff to get better traction on the ground beneath. WRC drivers have been known to comment that they have as much or more traction on snow with the thin tires as they do on gravel.

Now, I know many of these pics aren't of rally cars, but they're still sweet cars in action.
