Looking for a quiet upgrade to my WRX. Will an STi stock catback bolt up? Thanks Steve

![]() AFAIK it will bolt up. But it is not really an upgrade. The pipe diameter is the same. So without a downpipe you will not see any performance increase. even if you were to get a DP and EM it is still no different than the stock exhaust.
I looked into doing this with my wagon. But I abandoned the idea after researching. |

![]() It's only .25" bigger then stock from the axle back. You will see maybe .005 hp gain.

Catbacks generally yeild little to no gains, but pair that 3" catback with a down pipe and you will see gains. |
