![]() Hey all, after reading some threads of note and stickies, I've come to a few conclusions, I'd just like confirmation. My original plan was to get a set of 17x7.5 e48 subzeros and 225/45/17 Azenis RT-615s. However, after reviewing the '06 SCCA rules, I've found that the AWD 225 width restriction for STX is noticably absent! Further examining my options, I've found that ~$60 more than the previous option will get me 17x8" e45 Slipstreams and the 235/40/17 RT-615s due out in March. Any thoughts or opinions?
Thanks, JD

![]() 8" and 245's for AWD STX cars are the limits. Get a 17x8" rim. If you looking at Rota only for an affordable combo, the 17x7.5" Attacks are the lightest at that size. I've seen about 17lbs. advertised and a friend said they came in at about 16.5lbs. on his scale. Then get the 235/40 Falkens when they come out. If they don't come out in time, get the Hankooks in 235/40. If you have a little more $$ to spend then I'd go with 17x8 5Zigen FNO1R-C's instead of the Rota's. About the same weight and design but stronger.

![]() Ok, great, thanks for the suggestions. I could have sworn AWD cars were limited down to 225 last year.

![]() Sorry, you're right. The Attack is only available in 7.5". Must of been thinking of the 5Zigens, which is what I am planning to go with. A 235 tire on a 7.5" rim will be fine, though 8" would be ideal. I edited that mistake.
