Default 2007 Sti Protuned by Tim Bailey of PDX Tuning

SWP 2007 STi
Engine Mods:

AVO450 Turbo
TXS TBE(highflow) w/ Prodrive axleback
Deatschwerks 740cc inj.
255 walbro f/p
K&N intake w/ perrin turbo inlet
stock TMIC
perrin crank pulley
Koyo Radiator
Setrab oil cooler
ProDrive boost solenoid
Cobb AP v.2

as you can see i've got a conservative setup and asked for a conservative tune for longevity of the motor.

tuned on Yimi Sports Dynojet(stock STi's average 230AWHP/230ft.lbs. - 240AWHP/240ft. lbs.)

baseline with Mike's of GST, starter map:
278AWHP/281ft. lbs @ 14psi

1.)91 octane for daily(14.5psi)
316AWHP/310ft.lbs

2.)aggressive 91 oct(18psi taper to 13psi)
332AWHP/319ft. lbs.

3.)91/100oct mix (19.5psi taper to 17.5psi)
352AWHP/335ft.lbs.

*don't have all the charts for the above numbers( only for #1 and #3)

*Tim did a great job tuning my car...altho i wish my torque numbers were higher than my HP numbers. none the less the car feels really smooth and with the longer gearing in the 07, 3rd and 4th gear pulls for a long time.

this turbo is not over stressed as well as the motor. with a FMIC and Meth or water inj. this turbo is capable of 400+AWHP and torque. i may consider that later on but as of now i am very happy.

he runs the craziest set up ever....a stock turbo....I know...I have looked under the hood of the car. I didn't believe the numbers either until I saw the graph at the shop...Those darn '07's just make some sick power. Can't wait til you get that turbo upgrade we talked about(aka 600whp).

Nice !
What's even nicer is that when the hood is up your engine bay looks so damn STOCK !!
Well, except for those bright red hoses you got ...

we'll have to do a side by side comparison once I get my car back together,
You'll have to use the 91/100 mix since that gives you same whp as mine.
I'll have to go on a ride next time.

while the OP's car was getting tuned i was dropping a built motor into my room mates car at Yimisport

he is running a stock turbo. prior to the built motor, with water injection(straight water), aps tmic, intake, and turboback exhaust it put down 320whp on the Yimi dyno. it made 306whp at redline

also, to add to what the OP said about the dyno, the typical stage2 sti(04-06 models) dyno's 280-290whp and 310-320wtq. saw some 07's making 290-300whp and ~330wtq this past weekend

Wow that turbo looks pretty good. Spool looks really nice and some good top end all the way.

I'd say get some meth and a big top mount. That would be impressive.
