OK........ Got the car tuned thursday. It made 435whp on pump @ 19psi and 570whp on q16 @ 29psi. Powerband is very very fat. I will try to get them to post up a dyno sheet. Well we leave P&L at about 6pm central. Get back to KY at about 3am eastern. On the way home, just out of curiosity i call my local track who was having a big ihra event all weekend. Well what do you know, open time runs from 1-5.....Get home, go to bed, didnt even unload the car. wake up at about 1, get ready and head to the track..... First pass off the trailor, no launch control 1.67 4.5x 6.8x 10.41@132 Second pass 1.61 4.40 6.68@105 10.25@136 third pass 1.55 4.33 6.61@105 10.22@135 The third pass was a little hindered as you can tell from it going way better in the 1/8th and not that much better in the 1/4. On the first and second passes i was crossing the line at 8500rpm in 4th gear so i decided to try to shift to 5th at about 7500 rpm. Didnt work like i though. Fourth pass 1.55 4.32 6.61@105 10.19@136 Points of improvement..... More passes of course, havent had this thing on the road yet. It is 60'ing really soft in my opinion. I have 26'' hoosiers to go on it on bogart wheels so that will help running out of gear, they are also 15lbs lighter per corner, 60lbs of rotating, LOL. This was also lifting to shift. Weather was also not what you would want when trying to break records. Was pretty hot and where i didnt get to the track til about 2:15 we didnt have much time to make passes, passes 3 and 4 were about 15 minutes apart, hot lapping imho. Probably going to try it again next weekend and see if we can get in the 9s with it. Big thanks to everyone who has helped me out, first and foremost!!!!Paul, Jorge, Eddie and the rest of the P&L staff, YOu guys did awesome work, your turbo kit is top notch, obviously, and well the tune Awesome as always!. Ron of RAW1 Performance, second to NONE customer service! Grimmspeed for the x-over pipe. Injeccted Performance for all the little parts and stuff i needed, and the q16. The video

10.19? Very big congrats dude. Sounds like your car should go heads up against pauls T/A car or eddys "drag" street car. Yours is caged I imagine?

Yes, the car has a cage, batt cut off, parachute(was not on car obviously). Only thing i feel like i need is a window net. The car has stock glass so ill probably get by without one. |

Great job.
9's for sure on a better track, is that a huge dip at the 1/8th? is that a straight pipe exhaust? |

Car is at 8500 right at the 1/4. I have taller tires to fix that. I only want to rev it to about 8200 or so.
The magnus is great for a linear powerband, the graph looks like my 03 cobra graph did. I would say stock is better for top end power. I would like to eventually switch to an extrude honed oem unit. I am plenty happy with this manifold for now. Im sure with more seat time, a little more agressive driving and launching the car will go in the 9s around 139-140. Weather and track surface would help too. My home track isnt what you would call a good track, but its close to home and has plenty of shut down room. The exhaust is the P&L race straight pipe. It is 3''. I am wanting to pick another catback for street use. |

That looked and sounded great, nice driving also. What injectors are you using and anything special about the fueling system.

P&Ls dual walbro set-up and P&Ls 1600cc injectors and fuel rail kit. It has an adjustable regulator. Stock lines from the tank to the engine bay. Would like to think about doing a fuel cell eventually but im happy for now. If i were to change anything it would be doing either 6262 or hta86. I lean toward the hta86 but im not really sure.

Yup, sounds like track series. I'm curious, what type of weight did you shed to get it down to 30XX lbs? I'm not even sure what a stock wrx weighs.

I love driving the civic around, it looks like a heap but screams. I wish i could put the power down, im sure it would go down in the 10s but we cant get it all together in one pass. One pass it will go a 1.65 60' and do nothing on the big end, next pass it will pick up 35mph and run 132.
