Anyone ordered/ordering a 2020 WRX have any news on time to delivery?
Sounds like one member had a new 2020 STI delivered inside of 2 months:
Any other news on wait time?
Thanks!!!

Sounds like 2019s averaged around 3 months. I would assume the same for 2020.

Congrats! Delivery seems to range from 1-3 months.. not helpful I know Of course, there can always be unexpected manufacturing or delivery delays. Expect longer and you'll be pleasantly surprised if it comes sooner. It'll be worth the wait.

Were you able to work out a good deal? Was the dealer not able to provide you with any delivery estimate?

My dealer (SW Ohio) already has 3 2020s (2 WRX/1 STi) on the lot. Of course, there are sitting next to a few 2019s (WRX Limited/Premium and 1 STi).

What is compelling you to order a 2020? Are there not enough "leftover" 2019s or do you want a car with no dealer add-ons, like popular packages?

the thing about ordering is that you get what you want...vs having to pay for all the extra accessories that the dealer added on.

for me it was the exterior color...i wanted a CWP and there was none available so i ordered

Should be placing an order for a 2020 Pure Red STI base model this weekend. Dealership (Tucson Subaru) quoted me at $500 over invoice. Now I just have to see how much they are going to low ball me for my trade in. I was gonna get the speaker upgrade and a short throw shifter. Thinking about just getting on additional options just to reduce the time it will take for me to receive the car. I can always get the speaker upgrade down the road and I'll probably go aftermarket for the short throw shifter.

So I did place an order for a Pure Red 2020 STI this afternoon (about 7 hours ago). Base model, no additions because I am trying to reduce the wait time til I get the car. I went against the short throw (I'll get aftermarket within a year or so) and also didn't get the speaker upgrade (I can get that down the line whenever).

Estimated Delivery is 19 December.

Hoping it arrives earlier than that because I am going on a trip out of town around Dec 18/19 to visit my parents for Christmas. Would be a great time to break the engine is as it's about 1k each way.
