Anyone know maximum capacity for a USB drive for inside the center console? It's USB 2.0, correct? Not 3.0...?

Looking at some right now, the little tiny USB drives the size of your thumbnail that I can plug in and forget.
Want to put my music onto one and wondering if the Subaru has a limited reading capacity before I spend money on a 32GB just to find out it won't work...

wouldn't you need to convert to hydraulic steering?

To answer my own question - 16GB max capacity, and either USB 2.0 or 3.0.

My USB drive worked the first drive and then wouldn't connect after that...

I have not owned an STI in 3 years., and im finally back. Picked up a 16 limted with 6.9 miles!
So its break in time, but i have a concern or two.
Is it normal for the clutch to feel knotchy at times ? Meaning a tiny bit of resistance ?
This normally occurs at start up or first 5 minutes of driving.

And I'm guessing the 1000 mile break in rule still applies? (keep it under 4k rpm, no wot?)

And break in oil change still do as dealer suggested 1400 miles???

Thanks guys!

I broke mine in little different. Drove under about 4,500 RPMs & no WOT for 3,000mi. I then changed the oil. I've since been on a 3,000mi oil change routine to keep her blood clean! Enjoy the new ride. Those limited wheels have grown on me, look easier to clean too. Haha. Oh and the notchy shifting is totally normal. Sometimes it may even be a little more difficult to push it into a gear...but that's normal regardless.

Anybody know the prices of replacing the base headlights versus the limited headlights? I smacked a deer pretty well and trashed both.

Could be well over $1000. But supposedly they're plug & play (minus the auto leveling) and worth the upgrade.

My suggestion, if you can wait, Subarupartswarehouse.com sells everything and they do insane discounts around the holidays.

I would imagine they're having a 20-30% off sale this July 4th, and yes that means 20-30% off those $700 (a piece) headlights.

Would you rather have a heavy trunk that requires dampers to hold it up?

Did you not look at the trunk before you bought the car?

I can tell you that's not the correct schematic for our turbo. Both the compressor inlet and outlet use a 2 bolt flange. You're most likely going to want to attach your tester to the part usually refereed to the compressor inlet pipe, that has a barbed slip on and is where the air intake attaches

does anyone know if the +15 STI seats(front/rear) can be swapped into a +15 WRX?
I've tried combing through the forums but can't seem to find any guidance on this...

Trunk torque values from a Subaru tech. Helps with trunk swaps.

Trunk lid arm 14 ftlbs
Lower anchor of seat belt 22 ftlbs.
Trunk lid 10ftlbs
Rear spoiler 5.5 ftlbs
