Question Steering Wheel Woes....

So.... I had a leaking steering rack that I just replaced on my 2011 WRX. Got it installed, I thought I had everything nice and snug. Then I went to turn my steering wheel and... Pop! I then realized that I didn't tighten the U Joint spline before I disconnected the straps securing my steering wheel. Now I think I know where center is but I'm not really sure, and I don't know if I broke anything in my column. Any experts have some advice?

Likely spread the yoke that wasn’t tightened, but obviously it needs an alignment and the rack has to be centered anyway.

Depending on how far the wheel was turned, may have damaged the roll connector, but you would have an airbag light and the horn wouldn’t work.
