Yay page 100!

And i LOVE those wheels. beautiful!!! Nice job on the car, but it looks soooo weird without the bump strips on the door :| Should get some descrete JDM ones, instead of the whory big USDM ones.

And the red wagon on the last page is also looking great

I've always wondered what a bright blue wagon would look like. The body is so straight!

Hey guys new here, here are a couple pics of my Sube which is my daily driver. It's a 2000 GT Limited w/ 18" Tenzo R Passions. going to get my old 97 GT before the car goes to scrap and get the springs and coils off for this and probably cut the scoop off and use it for this. Will the brake from the 97 Gt work on the 2000? I dont think they will, but thought I would ask anyway.
Thanks

^^ your 97 GT springs won't fit on your 2000. The scoop can't be "cut off", because it's molded into the hood. It's not like a WRX or STi.

Huffer is correct, neither of those things will work, but the brakes can swap over. I see no reason to, though, the brakes on your 2000 are probably the same thing.

Default outback bumper...

the fitment was not good. i used the outback cover and a L brace. so the headlights/grill don't match up quite right. some fabrication was necessary to get it to where it is now

oh damn i was hoping the springs would work oh well. this car will have to wait then. i am going to cut the scoop section out of the hood, the actual metal and weld it into my hood. the brake: i put zinc washed cross drilled/slotted rotors and performance pads on it, thats why i wanted them. the car has a blown motor, front end and rear end damage so i dont care about cutting to hood up.

They're the same thing or bigger, so there's nothing to be gained there.

ok i can see the mentality already here... if you dont have the ability to bolt it on it wont work? you can also use impreza springs and struts on a legacy to gain extra drop also, but guess that wont work either since it isnt in a tech manual. Hopefully not everyone here is as close minded as you.

Maybe just a little sarcasm. ^

But seriously, Good luck with that. And be sure to post Pics of it once you're done. Anything CAN be accomplished. Whether it's done well is another matter.

At the end of the day it is about looking good, right? For the time/money/aesthetic, I think most of us would just go with a Baja hood and call it good.

Like others have said, good luck!

Going back to what I said in SL-i, if you are going to be molding a scoop into your hood, I would really think about doing something more original than just the molding the opengin from a regular baja/legacy turbo hood or even grafting on one of the impreza scoops.

The baja/legacy scoops are really very subtle and the opening is not really big enough to support anything substantially bigger than the stock TMIC as well...

If you're already going to do the work, might as well make everyone know you did it yourself.
