Just cause the outside needs to stay dirty doesn't mean the inside does.

Saw you on Dowling around 530 today. From the corner of my eye I saw a hood scoop and my eyes followed. The average Joe would probably think it's just some young kid adding ridiculous and irrelevant parts onto their car. Can't wait till you up the aesthetics!

That was me trying to get to class on time. She's not much to look at right now. I have a lot I'm planning to do but I'm trying to think of something to go over the top. Suggestions anyone? I was thinking a FMIC would look good but I don't know yet.

Spring/Summer plans right now is:
Brembo brakes
Inch drop
LGT bumper
RA JDM rally roof vent
JDM fog lights
JDM headlights
Paint WRB
Wheels
Tint

Tell me what you think would look good!

Geez Granny,

Are you learning anything in the financial class? Sometimes things just take time, if you had the money to finish you car today you would be bored with it and want a GTR or something and then in a couple months you would be bored with that. Sometimes we need to be happy where we are at in life. You have an awesome unique car and a bunch of friends to share it with. I know in order to live with you I will have to let off the gas so you won't be embarrassed gettn beat by a 6000 pound Raptor but I love you so I will do it.

Well gotta go to work to pay for your insurance, have a great day Son.

^^ I agree... Well, at least about liking what you've got. The journey is the fun part. Built, not bought as they say. You'll have a lot more pride of ownership when you know what you started with and the path you've taken to get where you end up. Look where it is now, it's a pretty sweet car as it sits.

Of your list from above, I would say finish the paint so it all matches your engine bay. Tint is something that is fairly cheap, that makes a good appearance change too. The LGT bumper would be cool, but for the 2nd gen legacy's I really like this JDM style one you can get from Primitive Racing.

About 1/4 way down the page http://www.writerguy.com/primitive/body.htm

I'm not in debt and my car is completely paid for. When is there a better time to do this then when I don't have a family or bills? I think someone misses his STi too much. Keep making excuses for when you get beat by the Granny Getter.

Most of the stuff on the list is stuff I need to do before paint. I would like to have everything painted at one time. The reason I'm holding out on tint is its $350 and I want to make sure I have enough money to paint the car this summer. Ive seen that bumper before and like it but I cant find a picture of it with the stock grill.

that bumper is tooo much 1999 style. (back when body kits were cools and trunks had park benches). Granny im the same way with my wrx sometimes. when i took away all her flashy things to "tone it down" i got depressed about her a little and actually almost sold her a couple of times. Im glad i held back and didnt. Now that i got her some new stuff im in love all over again. When i go to work, i walk backwards until i get into the building because i just cant take my eyes off of her. And afew guys here can tell you i park far, far, far away! lol

keep up the good work, cant wait for more updates!

^^ I sort of agree with what you said about the body kit bumper, but it's something you don't see on a legacy everyday. I think it has the potential to look good if done right. It's far from the old Vader or Viper style bumpers from the F&F era.

Haha, think you miss understood me a little bit. I simply meant that most of the time the ride is much better than the destination. Meaning the fun is in the modding and and creating not so much in the finished product, kinda like life.

We will race at the track this summer and that old lady is going down!

What looks better? The roof rack will be off so try to ignore it.

Just the vent.

Or with the scoop.

On this.
