Its a graph. Take it to the track and run it. So we don't have to relay on dyno number to see how much power it has. Funny we have multiple graphs for my car also, one with more power to the right or left, it just a dyno plot and say nothing about how the car goes. My 4094 is running the smalller of the two housing, just can't rember the AR.

Oh, I completely agree about taking it to the track...I was just more curious about the spool on your 4094. I know Garrett makes a 0.95, 1.06 and a 1.19 for the frame...

As for the power shift from right to left; if you know the relation between a turbo and area under the curve, then it makes perfect since...not sure if you were questioning that.

oh well, enough thread jacking. Take it to the track

why the hate? If you're talking about the 09wrx, his fuel pump took a crap and the car was running super lean.

We know that dynos are only tools.

No hate here bro. I'm a lover not a hater. Yes some of us know that dynos are tools as other like to spout there numbers out like that proves something. No disrespect to you DOM in anyway as i have seen you run your car. How is it Proven Power if all you have is a dyno number and no time slips to prove how powerful the car is. I guess that would be the Bragging part. Bragging about what is what i ask.

So with just those valves and springs with the 272's, it can go to 8k reliably??

only if the oiling system is done up right just because the valvetrain is up to the task the rest of the set-up has to be too so as not to spin a brg and then there is also the matter of having it tuned PROPERLY.I still believe a lot of spun brgs on here are due to too aggressive of a tune.

Basically it boils down to this:
Switched out the hydra for an AEM and linked it to the HydraMist system.
Adjusted AVCS
Got almost 20psi by 4k rpm-ish.
Set high and low boost with an EBCS and 2 MBC's.
Car drives like a dream and screams!

I'll see you later this week for some tuning fun, John.
Dom, what's wrong with the Hydra? He's running 2.6?

I can't openly discuss my issues with the Hydra EMS here on the boards. I know and like all the people associated with the product. Just ask the owners who have switched how they feel about the difference.

The Hydra has a LOT more PWM maps, inputs, outputs etc than the AEM. IMHO that isn't enough. That's all I have to say about that.

So, then in regards to this comment....

OP, what are your thoughts on Hydra?

I have always been a groupy of the system because of the ease of install and all the features it touts. However, this is the second time this week I have personally seen (read in this situation) a hardware failure that led to a switch to AEM. Now I am debated my future EMS purchase.

I figured the tq would be higher with the TS Geoff did some testing awhile back comparing the two TS/Single.

If you go TS deff get a bigger housing then you would on a single scroll.

I'm guessing the FP was bumped because the 255 wasn't supplying enough pressure?

We want track times you know for the bragging end of the thread. Good job guy's.

with smaller cams the torque would have been higher. Some porting may have helped too.

LeonBMX's build has a lot more torque on the same cams, but with porting and 2.6L. More displacement absorbs bigger cams and makes them relatively smaller. If that makes sense.

You think 2.6 really makes difference?

small update:
Turbo kit has been sold and this is on the way: along with EFR 7670 IWG! No more Tial BS for me!
Also porting heads and MPS is installing dual springs, single springs are not tight enough for high rpms, and last thing is down-sizing the cams to kelford B to get full advantage of AVCS

Nice choice - the twinscroll 7670 with .92 a/r and 42mm internal WG is a textbook match to the EJ25.
