At 30K they came off easily.
At 60K it took a utility knife and phone call to the wife to pick up some fuel line on the way home.

For the upcoming 90K service I'm making sure I have a few feet of fuel line on hand.

unscrew clamps/squeeze clamps, use pliers to pull off, done.

A little squirt of WD-40, and a small set of vice grips, cushioned by a rag works well for me. Squeeze the vice grips down (not too tight) and rotate back and forth to break the hose loose. Then just yank 'em off with your hands.

rofl at 150k mine came off easy because i didn't treat them like they were made of glass and were attached to a ferarri

heat it up with a lighter..
the rubber will soften and be easier to remove..

twist lines with pliers, then pull off.

put some sort of white lith/lube on new filter tubes.

then buy these.

There's enough extra to be able to cut it off at least once.

I use pliers to twist & break it loose then pull off.

Yep. A new length of hose is what, 30 cents?

I didn't want to find out what bending the crap it attached to was going to set me back -- and the fuel filter was being replaced, anyway.

Oh yeah, and don't cheap out and try and blow gas out of the filter.

make sure you wear safety glasses - the first time i did this, i forgot the system was under pressure

gas in the eyes wasnt a fun event at all
