Default What Works with Borla Hush?

Like the title says, what mates to a Borla without problems?

Fore example, I've read several reviews of people using Helix and having problems with the flange.

I just looked at the Ingen and suspect similar problems. Same for Autospeed.

Short DPs seem to be the logical choice. Are there any other Short bell mouth DPs besides ScoobySport?

If you have a hush, what have you used?

Thanks

I have a hush, and i had to ditch my helix.

now i'm putting on a bosal twindump shorty. as soon as i can break this stubborn turbo bolt!

most long DPs have a flat flange, and they wont fit the hush (without a torch that is)

I used a copper spray treated flat flange gasket on the DP side trimmed to match the lip of the factory donut gasket. Everything went together first time with no leaks and haven't had leaks in 10k miles.

The design of the Borla hush makes it easy to fabricate a small slip-fit adapter with a flat flange to mate up with a downpipe with a flat flange.

Use a 12 cm long section of 3-inch pipe, and weld on a 2-bolt flange to match your downpipe.

Use the search function to find more detailed discussions of this.

I have a Borla hush mated to a Random Technologies catted down-pipe, and I love the combination. (all stainless)

did you install the DP or the CB first?

So how much louder is your car after adding the Helix?

Thanks,
