It's called a joke amongst friends Keener. I don't see any harm or foul as it's not entirely derailing your precious thread. If you find it that rude and offensive I will remove it but I figure with the amount of joking you two do back and forth you'd laugh this off. Your call you want it gone you post and let me know and it will dissappear faster than your v-card. JK and lighten up.

I thought it was funny, and I totally knew it was a joke. Lighten up homie, go hang out in the paint booth for a minute and chill out!

sickest. swap. ever.

i'm selling my Evo and paying a visit to your shop. expect a phone call from me Keener, this coming monday.

i've driven an FD rx7 with LS1 swap because i wanted that swap so badly...but this swap...wow....2.5L, boxer rumble, low end torque, quick spoolage, awd, practicality due to # of seats/doors, and most importantly +-500lbs lighter than my Evo IX....

i pitched a tent the whole time reading this thread, and reading this thread took me 3 hours.

It's a bit foggy from the first coat of base coat, we had to close the window because the detailers next door were spraying some cleaner **** and causing the paint to fisheye! Hopefully Sean will be able to sand the car and the next coat will be fisheye free. I should have pics of a painted car in the morning... :gaga:

Exactly what it sounds like. Kinda like oil on water. These little spots the paint doesn't stick to because there is something on it, like WD40 or PBBlaster or any type of solvent. It's a total nightmare...

Brian, but you can ask for Keener. Either Kevin or Michela will most likely answer the phone.

Oh and it got painted last night...

Here they are. You can see in the pics, but the paint on the body and trunk blotchy. It looks like a rattlecan job with clear coat over or like sponge paint...
If scroll up to the base coat pics, it kinda looks like that with shiny clear coat over it.
Not sure what is going to happen next, I need to wait until the weekend for my paint guy to look and see what happened.

The flash gets the color about what it looks like in person.

Really crappy lighting with no flash so the color looks a bit weird. Also they parts are just dusty from sitting outside all day, the parts themselves are dirt free.
