Default 2017 STI - Lost communication with VDC U0122

TL;DR :
Problem :CEL U0122
Solution : Bad grounding cable from wire harness at the ABS module

the long version:

MY : 2017 STI with bolt ons and custom tune.
I was driving down a road that is being revamped and the clowns doing it failed to pu cones over the now protruding manholes. So me being a clown myself failed to see one of the smaller water man holes. I clipped one doing about 30mph. Felt like i hit Mt Everest. thats when things went downhill and the christmas tree list up

The following lights lit up:
Hill assist
CEL
Brake
Diff lock started to flash
TPMS
Spedo stoped working
ABS disabled
Car lost PSI of boost. ( felt like it went to a factory tune instead of the custom tune at 19psi)

Pulled the codes and i got U0122. Vehicle has lost communication to VDC.
I could not clear the code either. AP said could not communicate with ECU.

I pulled the wheel off thinking it was the ABS sensors, but that looked to be in good shape.

Turns out the ground cable from the wire harness connected to the ABS module cracked off. Not sure how it happened but it did and just happened to pop up at this time.
Fixed the grounding cable and everything started working again.

I'm sharing this info because i called the a indy shop that specializes in subarus and euros and they said they couldn't help me because it was a CAN issue that they could not work on. Called the Dealership and they wanted the car for a few hours to try and diagnose.

Hopefully this helps someone out who is having the same issue, because i found very little information on this and very few likely solutions.
