There are a few older folks in GC RS's around here. I give em waves and they wave back (unlike other crowds...)

It's just weird knowing I'm pushing 30, and I'm driving a car that Generation-Yet-To-Be-Nicknamed fawns over. I bought this thing when I was 21 and never parted with it. No one really had a clue what it was, then. Hell, most don't even have a clue now.

you bought a 2000 impreze when you were 21? that makes you 26 at the oldest; hardly "pushing 30."

Old? Hahhahaha...
I'm 47 and bought mine new in 00.
My kid was 11 then. Now he's 16 with a license. We went for winter driving skills experience last night in the snow.

If it makes you feel any better, you don't look a hair older than 45.

Pushing 30 is almost old?

Guess you better get the walker and the wheelchair ready to go almost-old-man.

HA! Almost old??? I just sold my Rally Blue Pearl RS not long ago. 38 and losing my hair and probably the most boring, conservative looking guy you'd ever meet. I got all kinds of looks from ricers and rednecks around my area. It was pretty funny actually.

Starting an "almost in the grave" club over here!! I'll be 45 next week. And you wanna talk "old school"?? I bought my first Subaru new in 1985. It was a sedan with one of the earliest turbo charged boxers. I absolutely loved that car. My kid wasn't even born yet. He's 18 now and driving his own GC sedan (and circling like a vulture waiting for me to decide to replace the WRX ).

So there's more of you "officially old" folks here than I thought . My 60 year-old cousin bought a 00 RS as her retirement "fun" car. I showed her my car the last time she was here...

Her: "That's ummm....nice."

Me: "Wanna ride?"

Her + Mom in unison: "NO!"

Nahh, but you are .

J/K. Question is, are you as mod-crazy as the rest of us younger set? I can't quit finding things to do to it.
