Default Wife's 2012 Impreza Sport

My family has grown in the last few years so it was time to get rid of my FA5 Civic Si and pick up something more realistic for the family. A 2012 Impreza Sport Hatch. Picked it up for $7000, has 160k and is fairly clean with the exception of a few dings and dents. Making this so I can keep a journal of everything we are doing with it. Not going crazy, just simple upgrades to make it more of a comfortable daily for her.

I love seeing these sorts of examples of well-judged efforts that make a big impact. Car looks very solid. I am keen to see where you go with it!

Switched to LED's for both low beam and high beam. Now I can see at night! Ordered some LED 3k for the fogs but they were the wrong bulb size.

We live in a rural are of the Washington coast, every road is is dark and covered with dear. So I'm planning on doing some aux lights with some led pods to help even more.

Good stuff, keep it up! I'm sure giving up the Si was tough though.

So hard.. hands down one of the greatest cars ever made in my opinion. K20 with a lsd, put a smile on my face everytime! I might get another one some day once the kids are a little more grown

I thought I bought LED reverse bulbs but i accidentally bought brake lights. So I said screw it and I installed them anyways. I already ordered the right ones.

Had to clean it obviously.. lol

Led right, stock halogen left. I guess they're brighter, i couldn't really tell a difference.

Previous owner hit a curb, so they front bumper was slightly cracked and didn't attach very well. I changed the oil yesterday and while I had it up in the air I made some improvements so it wouldn't feel like it was about to fall off..

Passenger side bracket had broken clips, so it would connect to the bumper, but not the body of the car...

Didn't have any bolts small enough so instead of driving to the store, I used some small drywall molleys haha

And they worked great actually lol

Then I threw a zip tie in the holes the previous owners made..

The driver side is missing the bracket completely, going to order that today as well as a passenger fender liner (missing when bought it)
