Just turned 49. I bought my WRX 5+1/2 years ago. It's just so practical and fun to drive. Some day I might replace it with something else, but I'm in no hurry to do so.

I'm 51 and happy to be back in a mostly stock STi, just an HKS catback and some springs.

Does 61 count? I bought my ‘02 bugeyes wagon when I was 40, still loving that boost and boxer burble.

January of 2023....44 yrs old and soon to be the owner of a 2011 STI hatch....Haven't owned a subie since my 04 wrx and 04 STI. Bought a house and other things now older but just wanted to have another STI, won't sell this one and keep it. Maybe get something else at end of this year, but I will have this Subie and hand it down to my son later in life....

48yo and bought a 2011 WRX. Have had nothing but problems from day one.

So I will probably be on here quite a bit, trying to learn as much as possible.

Second wrx 2022, first was a 2017. In my 30's. Such an improvement overall. Looking forward to seeing what Subaru does in the future.

Just turned 30, bought this 05 sti in 2016. Lucked out getting a third party warranty that ended up covering over 14k of work done on it. Had 57k miles, now at 79k.

I'm just wondering because this will dictate how I build my car when I pay it off. Im currently 28 and like the racer look, but not sure if it would look cool when im above 30, (ex. too boy racer)
Your style doesn't change with age. You will probably love that bugeye forever. Racer look? That doesn't go away either. I grew up in the age when bass was the thang... I cannot own/drive a vehicle without it. It just isn't the same.

Fox body mustang's, none of the newer mustangs look as mean as a Fox body to me.

Just do YOU.

38 here.

I had my 02 bugeye hatchback for *at least* 11 years.
in 2019 I went to a truck for reasons that made sense at the time......
but just this month I traded it in for a 2019 WRX limited that my local Subaru dealer was selling used.

very happy to be back in the Subaru family

I'd post photos of both, but sadly I'm at work, and i cant figure it out.

I don't usually see someone under 30 years driving a WRX / STI. I was thinking because the mods for this platform are fairly expensive compared to others.

Default 33 yr old checking in!

I'm 33 and thoroughly enjoy buying and selling cars. Not for profit, but because I just like cars/trucks.

I love DDing older cars. In the last 5 years: NB Miata, Mazdaspeed 3, 3rd Gen 4runner, F350 Diesel, Tundra, and now a 02 WRX (ej257 swapped).

Pumped to join the community - hard to find forums these days!
