please help me out, car hurt and need some q's answered on aftermarket parts
well, my car was involved in an accident, and the body panels are good, as well as frame, BUT the axles are shot, as well as the control arms, suspension, front and rear sway bars, cv's, etc. etc.
I was wondering first of all if anybody knows or has had experiance with the rally control arms, good bad or anythoughts would help. Also, i was wondering if there are stronger parts available for the scoob axles and cv's wise, as i plan on going nuts and turbo'ing next summer, as well as eventually going almost group A rally, so i may as well do that now that my stocker stuff is broke, right? for the suspension, has anybody used and/or purchased the rally kit from prodrive? anycomments on anything at all related even remotly to these parts would help me greatly, as i have to let the dealer know what to order and put on my car, as you can tell warranty is no issue to me, so i am having them install it as long as they have my car their for fixing. one more quick thing, the big brake kits, are they really worth it, or are they more show than go? thanks much, i really appreciate anything you can answer or give your opinions on, be it keep it stock, or go full race, anything would help TREMENDOUSLY. thanks again.

Sorry about the accident...major bummer. Hope everything turns out okay and that the insurance company doesn't mangle you.
I can't speak for the rally stuff, but on the big brake kits...you WILL notice a difference when upgrading to the huge Brembo brakes. Haven't felt em on an Impreza, but on a Camaro...aiesh! Talk about stopping in a hurry! Not all show, that's for certain. |
