The reason the parts are being sold is because I sold the 2.5 RS and got an STi and need parts for it now.

No pics right now. It is however the approx. 12"'s in length and uses 4 12mm bolts to bolt it down to the frame by the rear differential housing. I'll check on a pic to forward to you.

I currently have no pics of the skid plate. It is however the factory skid plate that is approx 1/8" thick that mounts to the lower frame of the car by the 10mm bolts that are currently on the car. there is no cutting or welding anything. It is an option that can be bought from the dealer for $120 and comes as an optional part on the Impreza Outback wagons as well. If you want to drive down to pick up the part and look at others I have that is possible. I'm just 20 minutes west of Danville and I can meet up with you if needed either at my job or at another location. It will be approx 5 hours to get here from DC.

I am interested in the rear sway bar, does it come with anything I'd need to mount it to my L?

There should be no additional parts used to install the sway bar on the L. All I had to do was jack the rear of the car and loosen the factory sway bar at the end links on the rear control arms and remove the brackets holding the bushings and reverse the order to tighten everything with the new bar in place.
With this sway bar installed on the RS, it was a more stable car than the '02 WRX.

L's do not have swaybars from the factory. It is not a simple swaybar swap.

That was why I asked. I knew I didn't have a swaybar, but I don't really know what I need to install one.

I knew that you did, but the seller doesn't.

You need the lateral links with the drop link mount, the drop link, swaybar mounting brackets, and all of the accociated hardware. There may be other parts. People have reviewed this, if you look hard enough you should be able to find the threads with it detailed.

cheeRS,

Greg

Thanks,

I wasn't for sure of the difference on the L's compared to the RS's. I know some of the older L's were fwd only but I couldn't say for sure on the newer awd versions.

I've got a 2001, so it's the newest possible version, but sadly, still no sway bar. I am still interested in the bar however. Can you get me a shipping price to 14004? Thanks.

Section 8, if I managed to get the stock mounting hardware from an RS, would I be able to use that?

As soon as I receive payment I will notify you of the shipping date and the tracking info. It may take a few days to ship since I'm having to work days over weekend. But it would definitely be shipped by no later than Tuesday.

Thanks!
